Redstor's Support Bundle Tool for ESE assists you in troubleshooting a backup issue by automatically gathering the logs and settings files that will be useful in a support call. The tool then copies these files to a single directory and compresses them into a zip file that you can send to Redstor's Support team.

Please note: This tool only works on Windows machines.

 

To use the tool:

1. Open an elevated command prompt and navigate to your install directory. By default on windows this is C:\Program Files\Redstor Pro\Backup Client ESE.

2. Run the following command:

PowerShell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -file .\Support-Bundle.ps1

3. Enter a name for your zip file and wait for the script to complete (this may take a few minutes). A zip file will be generated.

4. Log a support ticket, attaching the zip file to the ticket.
