If you experience a server failure in the primary site, you may need to promote a MirrorServer to a StorageServer so that backups can continue. This entails updating the StorageServer IP/hostname to that of the MirrorServer.

To do this:

1. In the Storage Platform Console, go to the Storage Platform Configuration view.

2. Open the relevant StorageServer. Right-click the StorageServer name and go to Advanced > Change StorageServer address.

3. Enter the hostname or IP address and port number for the relevant mirror and click OK.
